Chapter 6 I’m sitting in the university’s café, nibbling on a dry muffin and enjoying Liam’s sleepy voice over the phone. It’s the second day he’s been away, but even now it feels like an eternity. ‘Is he decent to you, at least?’ he asks, obviously referring to Dylan, whether he is gentle enough to me or not. The word ‘decent’ is really pushing it, but he does take care of me in a way that would put any professional bodyguard to shame.
