He curses under his breath, but eventually follows me towards the steps. We’re both pretty drunk, yet I spot a figure crouched on the steps, in front of the entrance. ‘What the…’ I pause, nudging Dylan in the side. He snorts. ‘Are you crazy? My ribs are sore as shit.’ ‘Look there!’ I point ahead of us. ‘I think that is… my God, that’s Mina.’ ‘What?’ he lifts up his head, and as he recognises her, he shouts angrily. ‘Damn. What the hell is she doing in the street at this hour?’ We accelerate our pace, while I am taken by a not very pleasant feeling of déja-vu as I watch Amina’s figure in the poorly lit alleyway.
