Four The dog had convinced me. I closed the door and went back to the study to start the movie. It was good, but I was tired. I had another brandy and decided I was through for the day. “Where is this so-called master bedroom?” I asked. “Upstairs,” General Roberts said, “first door to the right.” “I’ll leave the hall light on, I said. “Watch about any lights in the other bedrooms. I’ll see you tomorrow.” I picked up my suitcase and went upstairs. The master bedroom also looked about the size of a whole apartment. The bed was a round one, at least eight feet in diameter.
