I stood there numb. I stopped feeling my legs till now when he was just standing in front of me, with an emotionless face.
"R-Robert, c-can I-" I asked once again.

Suddenly the door flew open and Max was standing there. He looked at me with wide eyes and saw the pool of blood below my toes.
