Aaron lifted both my legs and put them on his lap. He looked sexy with his overnight stubble . When I looked up at him my heart broke. His eyes were filled with; worry, panic, and sadness. It was unlike him to take a rain check on anything we had planned together.
"Can you please get better friends than Zane?"
" We are in the same circle ,and I've always been friends with him. You haven't gotten to know him. He went through a lot. This is unlike you. What aren't you telling me?"
I looked away and he gently swayed my face towards him and he gave me a lingering kiss on the forehead .
" What are you talking about?"
" I know the past weekend has been hard on us. You never judged me harshly or run away with some guy .Whatever it is we can work through it. I can feel it in my heart.
