Chapter Twenty-Five Uriah stepped up to the guard, “I have come to see the prisoner.” “I am sorry sir,” the guard answered, “but you do not have clearance.” “I am Uriah Star, father of the director.” “I know who you are, Mr. Star, but it is from Director Dored that my orders come. Director Dored commanded me that you of all people were not allowed to enter.” Nodding, Uriah stuck his hands in his pockets. With effortless movements, he pulled an electric baton out of his pocket and shocked the guard. “Forgive me, I had hoped it wouldn’t come to this.” As the guard fell, Uriah stuck the baton back into his pocket and grabbed his hands.
