I opened the door and paused a little, my gaze lingered on her sleeping face, “Doesn't this look familiar?" Her voice echoed in my head. I walked closer to the bed and crouched in front of her sleeping figure.
I brought my hand up to tuck a few strands of her hair behind her ear, “This! Together we can conquer what life throws at us,” her words continued to resonate in my head.
Her eyelashes fluttered and I got scared thinking she was about to open her eyes until I heard her heavy breath, “You guys truly love each other,” I kept my gaze on her lips when I recalled my Dad's words.
