Megan's pov
I was deep into my studies, surrounded by textbooks and notes scattered across my desk. The room was silent, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning.
I was focused on my business management coursework, reading every word aloud to ensure it sank in. The knock on my door was unexpected and disrupted my concentration.
"Come in," I said, as I looked up from my books. The door opened, and Dora peeked inside.
"Madam, lunch is ready," she informed me.
I nodded, grateful for the interruption, as my stomach had been growling for a while.
"Thank you, Dora. Could you please bring it to my room? I want to finish this chapter," I explained.
Dora nodded and left me to my studies. I returned to my textbook, determined to make the most of my study session.
