Megan's pov
I stepped out of the car and walked hastily to the door. I came to visit my parents and my younger brother. Even though I was still mad at my parents, I couldn't just forget about them like that. I opened the door and stepped into the house that was once my home.
I saw the cozy living room of my childhood home, the familiar scent of my mother's cooking wafting through the air.
"Mummy!" I called out to my mother with a smile on my face, she stepped out of the kitchen with a big smile as she squeezed me into a hug while I hugged her back. We stayed in that position for a while before she pulled away.
I saw tears in her eyes, she felt remorseful at what she did. I smiled down at her and told her it was fine.
"Where's Dad and Atlas?"
