ERON woke up with the Bone Prince's eyes still burned into my brain. Silver like liquid mercury. Seeing right through me. "You still look like you've seen a ghost," Gumi observed, lounging on my windowsill in a patch of morning sunlight. His nine tails twitched lazily as he studied me. "Or something worse than a ghost." "I feel like I got hit by a truck," I mumbled, pushing myself up and running a hand through my hair. "That wasn't a normal dream." "No," Gumi agreed, unusually serious. "It wasn't."
