Chapter 16For the next week the quartet worked diligently to get all the rowhouses cleaned of dirt, dust, and other accumulated detritus. On the day when they set to work tearing up the carpet in 1029 the weather had turned cooler, the summer heat ceding to the arrival of autumn.
