Arjun's Rising Talent
Since the night he lost his guitar, Arjun has been working harder than ever to improve his singing skills. With the support of Karan—his loyal friend—he starts performing at various local venues, gaining a small but dedicated following. His voice is raw, yet powerful, capable of pulling at the heartstrings of anyone who listens.
Despite his passion and hard work, Arjun still feels a void. Diya hasn’t shown any interest in him beyond casual encounters at college. She remains as beautiful and popular as ever, surrounded by her friends, who are all from the privileged circles Arjun can never hope to be a part of.
Arjun has always dreamt of impressing her with his talent, but every time he gets close, she seems to brush him off without a second glance. His frustrations grow with each passing day, and although he tries not to show it, the pain of being unnoticed by her starts to weigh heavily on him.
Rohan’s Help
One day, after an impromptu performance at a small café, Arjun’s voice is heard by Rohan, a wealthy classmate he’s known since childhood. Rohan has always been kind and supportive of Arjun, even though their worlds are worlds apart. Rohan’s family owns a renowned music studio, and he has connections to the entertainment industry.
“Arjun, that was amazing,” Rohan says after Arjun finishes singing. “I’ve heard a lot of people sing, but there’s something raw about your voice. It deserves to be heard. You know, my family owns a music studio. If you’re interested, I can help you get started—professional recordings, a chance to make a demo, maybe even start working on an album.”
Arjun is stunned by the offer. Rohan has always been wealthy, but Arjun never imagined he would offer to help him this way.
“I… I don’t know, Rohan. I mean, I’ve always wanted to make it, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for that. What if I fail?” Arjun’s doubts bubble to the surface, but Rohan waves them off.
“Don’t worry about that. You have the talent, man. Let’s make it happen. You’ll regret it if you don’t give it a shot.”
For the first time in weeks, Arjun feels a flicker of hope. Maybe this could be the opportunity he’s been waiting for. Maybe this time, things will be different.
The Frustration with Diya
As Arjun begins working with Rohan at his family’s studio, things seem to be progressing. He records his first demo, and the initial feedback is overwhelmingly positive. But even with these small wins, there’s a constant ache in his chest—Diya still hasn’t noticed him.
He continues to see her around campus, surrounded by her friends, always laughing and enjoying her life, while he’s stuck in the shadows, trying to make something of himself. Arjun wants to be noticed by her, to show her that he’s more than just the quiet, poor boy she once dismissed. But no matter what he does, no matter how hard he works on his music, it feels like Diya’s attention is always somewhere else.
“I don’t get it, Karan,” Arjun says one night, his frustration evident. “I’m doing everything I can. I’m working so hard on my music. I’ve got this chance with Rohan’s family. But Diya... she still doesn’t care. She doesn’t even look at me.”
Karan, always the supportive friend, pats Arjun on the back. “You’re doing great, man. But don’t let her be the reason you keep going. If she doesn’t see it now, she will eventually. Just keep focusing on what you’re doing.”
But Arjun can’t help it. No matter how many times Karan reassures him, the sting of Diya’s indifference remains. His dream was always to be with her, to have her notice him for who he truly is—someone capable of achieving greatness, someone who has something to offer. But every time he sees her, he’s reminded of how far apart their worlds are.
A Growing Bond with Rohan
As Arjun spends more time with Rohan, he begins to realize just how much his friend believes in him. Rohan doesn’t just offer him a chance at success; he truly wants to see Arjun’s dreams come true. He introduces Arjun to some key people in the music industry, and although the path to success is still a long one, Arjun feels like he’s finally on the right track.
One evening, as they sit in Rohan’s family’s studio, Rohan turns to him with a serious expression. “Arjun, you’ve got more potential than anyone I know. But if you want to make it, you’ve got to push yourself further. You’ve got to believe in yourself as much as I do.”
Arjun, still reeling from the emotional toll of trying to win Diya’s attention, looks at his friend with newfound respect. Rohan’s belief in him is genuine, and it helps Arjun realize that he can’t keep waiting for Diya to notice him. If he wants success, he needs to focus on his own growth, on his own journey.
“I’m with you, Rohan,” Arjun says. “I’ll make it happen. For myself.”
Diya’s Growing Awareness
While Arjun works hard to make his dream a reality, Diya begins to notice him in ways she hadn’t before. Rumors of his musical success start to spread across campus. She hears people talk about his latest performance at a popular club, about the demo he recorded with Rohan’s family. She hears the buzz surrounding him, and for the first time, she wonders if she misjudged him.
One afternoon, as Arjun walks across campus, he notices Diya standing with her friends. She’s looking at him, her gaze lingering for a moment before she quickly looks away. It’s a small moment, but it’s enough to make Arjun’s heart race. Has she finally started to notice him?
