3 If Courtney needed any more proof that she was in space, it came when she started floating. Whatever was keeping gravity going failed, and she found herself plastered to the ceiling and reaching for the wall, trying to orient herself. She saw streaks of yellow outside the nearest window, and sweat coated her arms. It was getting hot and they were crashing. Gravity came back with a jolt, and Courtney knew she didn't have much time. She needed to brace herself before they made impact. Not that it would matter. She was going to die. But she couldn't give up hope.
