Millicent's POV I stare down at the card decorated with its simple message, which feels more serious than it probably should be. But there is something about this that just sticks with me. So my mind is running at full speed, thinking about the details I can see on this card, trying to read between the lines for anything that could point me in a particular direction of the creator. This feels almost possessive, showing that this person has control over the situation. But that includes having control over me by association, by doing what they wanted and when, without my approval in my 'safe place'.
