Millicent's POV The last customer finally leaves after staying a half hour after my replacement got here. I appreciate the business but no one wants to stay at work longer than they have to. So, with all the night-time shift people showing up it's starting to get busy again and I do not want to get caught in that wave. If I do, I will have to stay for a couple more hours to help out, just to not get tips for it and barely any hourly pay.. so no thank you. I shut down my station so I can't take any more customers. I put myself into a tunnel vision so I won't be tempted to help out more people, getting strung into this endless cycle. Eliza, my replacement for the night time shift, is here and she can take care of herself. So I take my cash drawer out and count it while taking my tips. I g
