Millicent's POV The loud echo of the door closing behind Aiden fills the silent room. His words are leaving me in a frozen state. Once I thaw realizing what just happened, I jump up, about ready to go out there and yell at him for leaving me... I want to be livid that he would reject me and then leave me high and dry when I just gave him the time of his life, or at least that's what I tried to do. I just did what felt natural to me in this spontaneous moment... and by the looks of it and what he had to say, it sounded as if it was all that he could have wanted.
