Silent War...

I didn't have to go this morning, but if I hadn't gone, I might have ended up in a bad situation. Despite not wanting to, I decided to go to the office today. Even though I didn't want to, I had to go today. There was fear somewhere in the corner of my heart, but it wasn't that deep. I wasn't afraid of Julian anymore. I was trying to make myself strong. But somewhere in my heart, I still had the hope that I would go far away from Julian, far away, where he would not be able to find me. It had been three days since the night I spent with Julian, but the pain was still the same. I felt that mark still somewhere near my neck. I wanted to erase it, but every time I failed. aaahhhh, what must Julian have done, he is some animal, why did he give me so much pain, lust is a very small word, he is a beast. I tried my best to hide my pain behind makeup and formal clothes. While walking, with every step, a pain would arise between my legs and on my waist, which would remind me again and again of that night. I got out of the lift and immediately went to the reception. My heart started pounding when the girl said I had to report to the boss's cabin first. I felt like my bad luck was four steps ahead of me. While going towards the boss's cabin, my steps were faltering, then I reminded myself that I am a strong girl, I have to work here now so that later I can go away from here. I was gasping for breath, but then I took a deep breath and moved forward towards Julian's cabin. When I pushed the heavy glass door open, it was quiet and cold; it was so quiet that even the sound of paper rustling could be heard. There was a strange smell in the cabin, something didn't seem right to me. Inside, Julian was sitting in a nice chair at his large desk. He had a file in his hand, and he was completely engrossed in it. I don't know how, but Julian sensed me coming inside. He didn't raise his face, but a sweet yet cruel smile appeared on his face. "You're a little late, Lily," Julian said without looking at my direction, his tone sounding as if he were claiming ownership of me. I kept my gaze down because I couldn't muster the courage to look him in the face or in his eyes. And that Julian was just looking at me with lustful eyes. I felt as if Julian's eyes were looking at those blue marks through my clothes. "Sorry, sir. I haven't been feeling well..." I had just finished saying this when I accidentally looked him in the eye, and my voice faltered. I lowered my gaze so I wouldn't have to look into Julian's lust-filled gaze. Julian slowly got up from his chair and walked closer to me, so close that I could smell his perfume. The scent made me dizzy. It smelled quite strong. I slowly took a step back, but Julian kept moving his steps towards me. There was no way to get near me because there was a wall behind me. Julian placed one hand on the wall near my head And bending down, he whispered softly into my ear, "Hasn't the pain gone yet? You were showing a lot of courage that night." His way of saying it was different. My heart started pounding so much that I closed my eyes. I was so scared that I felt like crying, but I controlled myself. "Sir, I'm here to work," I said in a hushed voice. Julian grabbed my chin by the fingers and lifted it up, forcing me to look into his eyes. I saw that his face was as solid as stone. "You will do the work. But remember, you got the job not because your CV was good, but because you made me happy, you gave yourself to me. My rules apply in my office. Now go ahead, your desk is outside. And yes, come and meet me when you go home in the evening... we have to finish some things from last night." Without saying anything, I quickly left the cabin. He was tripping over me, but I didn't let myself fall. I felt strange. Julian was now beginning to assert his rights over me. His face was like that of a psychic, his eyes were always filled with lust on me. When the glass door of Julian's cabin closed behind me, I realized that I could breathe freely now, but when I was with Julian, I couldn't breathe properly. Mark had already broken me from the inside. I had no idea he would be so selfish. He didn't even try to find me once after I left. But now I was away from him, I had a different life, but now it also seems that my life is going to be in Julian's cage. I squeezed my shaking hands together and took a deep breath, but then my eyes fell on Zoe standing in front of me. I noticed that she was looking at me differently. She was wearing expensive clothes, just like that day. She was just staring at me. I couldn't see any sympathy on her face. I could see a greenish glow on her beautiful face, but there was a thought in my mind as to why she was jealous of me. "So, did you meet the boss?" Zoe's voice held a distinct coolness, as if she were controlling herself. Zoe's voice was choking me like snow, but since she was my team manager, I couldn't say anything to her.She didn't even wait for me to respond and marched ahead, stamping her high heels on the ground. "Come with me, I don't have the whole day to deal with your tantrums. Come and check your desk." Zoe said all this to me in such a rude voice. I quietly bowed my head and started following him as if I was a cage and going towards my hut. Zoe introduced me to all the employees I met along the way with such a cold and heartless tone. There was anger in her voice, as if I was unworthy of anything here. "Here's your desk," Zoe said, standing in the corner, looking at me with her eyes filled with hatred. "Keep one thing in mind, Lilly. This isn't a place to play. You have to do a lot to survive here... and not everyone has the 'talent' to keep the boss happy." Zoe said this to me so rudely that I don't know why she did this. I didn't harm her. He said so much in front of so many people that my face turned pale. Without another word, Zoe pointed to a boy sitting across from me. "This is Luke. If you don't know what to do, tell him, don't bother me."With that, Zoe quickly turned away, the sound of her heels slowly fading into the corridor. I looked toward the desk in front of me with a scared, hesitant gaze. Right then, Luke lifted his head from the computer screen. As soon as my eyes fell on Luke's face, the noise of the office, the sound of files and papers, even my pain, I forgot for a moment. I couldn't read anyone's face, but that boy Luke was looking at me as if he knew me. He was just looking at me, not out of lust, he was looking at my innocence. He was looking at me with such deep eyes as if he was understanding the pain inside me. I was looking into his eyes, they were quite deep. He was looking into my eyes without blinking, he was looking into my closed eyes as if he was trying to understand me. "H-Hi..." I said in a trembling voice. Luke closed his eyes as if he was just coming to his senses. A very soft and genuine smile appeared on Luke's face. For a moment, I felt like I might not be able to work in this place anymore because someone was actually smiling at me.I never thought Luke would become a reason for me. My voice was shaking, and Luke thought I was scared. "Hi Lily, I'm Luke," he said, his voice soft as if he was trying to make me feel safe with him. But really, I also felt good after hearing his voice, as if I had found peace. "Don't feel bad about what Zoe said, she talks like this with everyone, you are absolutely safe here, if you don't understand any work or if you have any problem... tell me, I am sitting right in front of you." The sincerity and concern in Luke's eyes acted like a cool balm to my heartache. In this strange and seemingly cruel office, for the first time, I felt a sense of belonging in someone's voice. Luke's eyes were still fixed on me. He was just looking at me. I was feeling good for the first time. Julian looks at me with lust, while Luke looks at me with a look of intimacy and innocence.
