Justin’s pov By the time I parked outside Cassie’s house, my knuckles were white around the steering wheel. Her place was lit up, warm, the kind of house that looked inviting from the outside. I used to come here all the time when we were younger, back when things were different. Back before she turned into this version of herself. Her parents answered the door when I knocked. “Justin!” her mom said, beaming. “It’s been so long. How are you, sweetheart?” Her mom said smiling sweetly.
