DAPHNE Two weeks. That's how long I've been Luna of the Nightfall Pack. Two weeks of learning names, memorizing faces, sitting in on council meetings where I'm still figuring out who actually holds power and who just talks like they do. Two weeks of Eleanor guiding me through pack hierarchy, dispute resolution, resource management—all the things that don't make it into the marriage ceremony but matter a hell of a lot more. I'm getting the rhythm of it. Morning rounds through the pack house, checking in with department leads. Afternoons reviewing reports or hearing minor grievances. Evenings with the twins, when they're not buried in border patrol schedules or alliance negotiations. It's not easy. But it's mine. This morning, I'm up early, dressed and ready before the sun fully clears
