Chapter 21 Rachel bounced on my bed bright and early Saturday morning, despite my efforts to push her off. She laughed as I put the pillow over my head to block her out. “Get up! I didn’t believe it when your mom told me you were still sleeping!” Rachel put her arms on either side of my body and rocked me back and forth with a strength that surprised me. Her jostling guaranteed that I wasn’t going to get to go back to sleep. She jerked the pillow away and tossed it on the floor. “Why are you here so early?” I pushed her back so I could sit up.
