Jakes Pov

"You're my only hope Jake, if you die so do I... I will have nothing left... you're the only one left, please don't leave me... I will be have no will left..." with that her eyes shut again and she fell into a deep sleep. 'What did she mean by I'm the only one left?' 'Her other mates are dead or they have rejected her Jake. If you die or reject her she will most likely die or not want to live anymore. She will have nothing to live for, Queen or not, she'll want to die, it all depends on how strong she is. But that will never happen because you aren't going to die anytime soon and if you ever mark her you'll live as long as she does. Once marked ypull be bexome immortal too until one dies decides to die, then you both die. Micheal told ypu this' Ash told me. It took a moment for what Ash had just told me to sink in. "WHO THE HELL REJECTED YOU!" I was so mad at this moment that if i didn't have werewolf hearing I would not of hear her whisper "I will find you eventually my lying Scarlett. And I will kill you, no matter the cost." This made me ever more angry. Not only did he reject her but he wants to kill her for lying about something.

I stayed next to her, just watching her sleep. I know it may seem cheesy but I don't want to leave her alone every again. I will protect her with my live.

Scarlett's pov

I woke up to see Jake asleep next to me.

'I can't dweal on the past, I I stronger than him, I can't kill him, I will kill him.' I told myself and my other sides.

'Damn right we will'

'He will suffer'

'We'll show him who's boss!'

I slowly moved his protective arm and slid myself off the bed. I made my way to the bathroom and did my business ans made my way downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen to find no one. I used my heightened senses to see if there was anyone else in the house and found no one but Jake. 'Maybe they are training or hunting?' Midniggt suggested.

'Or just at school or work' I suggested back.

I rummaged around the cupboards to see if there was anything to eat only came up empty. So I decided to cook from cinnamon toast. I grabbed what I needed and started. As I finishing a sleep Jake made his way into the kitchen.

"Why is there an angle making yummy smelling food in my kitchen?"

"No angle just a demon." The look of shock that showed on his faced caused me to smirk and give a small chuckle.

"Are you just gonna stand there or join me for some food mate." At this Jakes cheeks turned a bright red as he shuffled to get a seat at the breakfast bar.

"What is this? It smells good."

"Cinnamon toast mate."

As I set his plate down I gave him a small kiss and his cheek and sat down next to him. We started eating in a comfortable silence until Jake spoke.

"Who rejected you?"

"Don't worry about them. Next time I see them I'll kill them. I'm sorry I freaked out yesterday, I could believe what happened. I want to explain but give me time. I also want to apologiseto Micheal where is he?" Jake looked like he wanted to argue but something was stopping him.

"Umm hunting I believe."

"I'll find him later then. But I was hoping for you to show me around the pack. You know maybe help out with training or the orphanage?" Jake almost chocked on his food at this suggestion ans replied.

"You just got back, I wanted to get to know you first. Training maybe but ummmmm... we don't have an orphanage here. The pack doesn't have enough space people to run it." He said whispering the end part.

Jumping up from my seat I replied "Well that's gonna change. I have no need for school so I can run the orphanage and ill help train. But first you my dear mate are gonna take me on our first date."

Jake looked surprised at this and contemplated how to reply.

"Why don't you need school?"

"Jake dear I've already told you I'm very very old." The look on his face was priceless.

"Well why don't you have a look around the pack, find the perfect place, do some plans and then we can make it happen?" He replied kinda shyly.

"Thank you thank you thank you." I squealed bouncing up and down. "Oh and I'm paying for it mate." I stated. "I have a loooot of money ans I advertise nothing to do with it." I said with a smile.

"Fine you get to pay but only if you are ready by 6:30."

"Why mate?"

"I'm taking you on our first date." He said with a smile before standing up and walking away.

'Guess we are going on a date girls'
