Hello Autumn

Chapter 8: Home

Lilyana:

I take Autumn on a tour of her new home and soon to be new pack. "First on the list our gym, then we will head over to our library and Cafe. We have a few vendors here and some pop up shops as well. The pack is encouraged to step out as entrepreneurs and learn important leadership skills even if they are not in a lead position." I start and Autumn looks very interested in seeing how pack life works. We continue through the pack and I show her where The living quarters were for the rest of the pack we each have our own Cookie cutter House the only differences between them is colors and size. Some are larger to accommodate families. We finally end the tour at our library and Cafe and sit down for some tea and brunch. Autumn looking a little lost in thought ask "How many wolves are in this pack?" I think for a second then reply "Including a 150 Soldiers there's close to 300."

Hunter:

I get all of Autumn's belongings into her closet and leave it for her to go through. I decide that while I wait on her return I will go to my office and get some paperwork done. I have three businesses along with pack issues I have to deal with. I'm going over the Ledger for paychecks when there's a firm knock at my door "it's open" I call out not looking up from my paper work. The door swings open "Alpha Hunter do you have a minute" My beta says as he walks in I look up "sure take a seat. What's on your mind Silas" I ask as He steps further in and takes the seat across from me. He folds his hands in his lap.

Beta Silas:

I have been interrogating the rogue prisoners in the dungeon all day. one finaly cracks and says they were hired by a very strong coven of witches to find a hybrid orphan child that is supposedly hiding at or near our pack grounds. immediately I think of Autumn our new luna and instruct the guards to put the prisoner back in his cell. I rush to the alphas office to notify him of the information I just received. I am seated in the chair across from the alpha wringing my hands " I have received information from one of the prisoners Alpha and its not looking good" the alpha nods to tell me to get on with it "Alpha the prisoner said they were hired by a very powerful witch coven near the blood moon pack to locate a hybrid at or near our very own moon cove pack!" I sit and let it sink in for a moment "and you think they could be looking for Autumn." he states.

Autumn:

Lilyana and I are having a coffee together I already love this pack. They are very warm and welcoming. " I noticed Yesterday there are quite a few woman and children in this pack as well , I wonder if hunter would alow me to open up a self defense class to any that are willing?" I think outloud more to myself. Lilyana looks at me "that is a great Idea my brother and I are the gammas and one of our jobs is to train the guards I would be more then willing to join you and help out anywhere I can if alpha Hunter approves!" she says to me "I run it by him after we are done here I would like to get back and unpack anyways" I reply to her with a genuine smile on my face. we finish up our coffee and then Lilyana walks me back home. after saying our good byes I walk inside to go find hunter and let him know I'm back. I got up to our floor and ran in to the guy that gave me the shirt after fighting the rogues "Oh its you I have your shirt if you want it back" I say " oh not an issue luna it's just one of many I have hidden around pack grounds in case anyone needs them after a shift the Alpha and I came up with that shortly after we received our wolves. I'm beta Silas by the way don't be scared to reach out if you ever need anything. Have a great day luna" he replys " you as well beta Silas but do call me Autumn I'm not used to all the formalities." I reply back " Well then you should simply call me Silas that's what all my friends call me" he says and excuses himself. I continue trying to find Hunter which doesn't take long. He comes marching out of a room at the end of the hall pulling the door shut and spinning on his heal like he is on a mission. He spots me and comes towards me kissing me on the forhead " let's go get some dinner and talk." he says as I look at him. I follow him back down the stairs to the dining room and sit near him. I wonder if he has a cook and server's? Sure enough someone comes out with a tray holding two plates and ask what we would like to drink "red wine would be great with these steaks Amber thank you" he addresses the older women.

Hunter:

I look at Autumn while we wait for Amber to come back with the wine " I have never had alcohol before." she says to me, "Neither of my parents drank they said it just clogs your mind and it's important to remain clear minded in case anything happens." She follows up with and I smirk at her. "Your' parents sound very wise. But right now the occasion calls for a little wine. it's our first dinner together and I would like to celebrate the fact." I reply to her as I grab her hand and kiss the the back of it which makes her blush and sends satisfaction through my entire body. Amber finally comes out with the wine " Sorry for the wait I hope you both enjoy your meal and have a wonderful night!" she says and excuses herself. "She is super sweet" Autumn says after Amber leaves " she used to be my nanny. She has been working for me for as long as I can remember and she is like family to me" I say as I poor two glasses of wine and hand her one. As Autumn takes a sip of her wine I ask her "My mother says the necklace you wear was with your mother when she was abandoned as a baby is there anything else you might have that could tip us off as to what coven you originate from?" She thinks for a minute "I might have a few things Why do you ask?" she answers me with a question " Well there's a coven going through alot of trouble hiring rogues to find a hybrid in our area. I have reason to believe that hybrid might be you." I reply and give her a minute to process the bomb I just dropped.
