Hello Autumn

Chapter 7: Must be a monday

Hunter:

Autumn and I stayed up a little later watching a Halloween movie while we Talked a little and snuggled up on my bed. We must have fallen asleep I woke up with my arm wrapped around her, her head on my chest and one of her legs arched over my legs. This feels so natrual I just want to go back to sleep a little longer and enjoy but someone knocks on my door almost timidly...

I get up and try not to wake her up when I remove my arm from around Autumn and she grabs on tighter. I chuckle a little and whisper in a husky voice " you gotta let me up love someone is at the door" her eye lids flutter a little then fly open in realization. She immediately rolls off me blushing "did I fall asleep in here?" I get up chuckling again I open the door to my father. " Son sorry to disturb you but your mother is frantic she says her new daughter is missing from her room. she said she knocked but there was no answer so she opened the door and the bed doesn't even seem slept in." he says I roll my eyes and open the door wider "Autumn and I watched a movie in here and we fell asleep part way through." My father breaks out in a huge smile " Hello Autumn I am glad to finally meet you My Name is August and I am so glad my son finally found you." I roll my eyes again "we will be right down dad." I say and shut the door and turn to Autumn who is blushing even harder now " I need to go get dressed and wash my face and if possible I need to go get the rest of my belongings...well not everything I would like to leave some stuff so we can maybe use my cabin for weekend or summer get aways so I can visit my parents if that's alright?" she ask " Oh of course that's fine do you mind if we take my parents helicopter there though I don't know how much you have but it would probably be slightly more convenient then hiking or rock climbing with your belongings..." She's smiling now " or I could just create a portal since I know the location by heart it will be easy I just need an open area to do it" I am now looking at her wide eyed can she really portal travle is that a thing? She giggles at my expression "Not all witches can bend space and time for travel, My mother had a theory that it was because we are from a powerful bloodline. It takes alot of energy from me but I really need my clothes, herbs, soaps, and books." I try to calm myself a bit and nod my head "Yes let's go to the training field everyone has the day off from training today. We can do it after breakfast."

Autumn:

We finished Breakfast and promised Hunters mother we would be back by three so she and lilyana could show me around pack grounds. Then we headed to the training field. When we reached the the training field I take my hikingpack off and pull out a small stone bowl and grinder along with some small stones, candles, carefully wrapped herbs and a small knife. I set to work putting my homade candles in a circle around hunter and I. I kneel down pull my herbs out and crumble them in the bowl and crush them with the grinder to a fine powder I motion to hunter to kneel down to my level I grab the knife and poke my finger then poke his finger as well. I squeeze a dot of blood out of mine and put it onto his forhead and dust it with the herb dust "Blood to blood ties us together and herbs for safe travle do the same thing I did" Hunter looks at me a little bewildered but follows my direction. Then I whisper an incatation and all five candles flicker to life. I grab his hand and step back and a large coppery orb appears. I Lead him through.

Hunter:

Autumn pulled me through the orb and my stomach dropped I think I am going to be sick. It was like getting dizzy from the zipper at the state fair. We came out in the field behind her cabin and she pulled me toward her old home. We got inside and she pushed me down onto the small loveseat and went to the kitchen. When she emerged seconds later she held something out to me " Candied ginger to help your stomach the first time traveling is always a little rough." She leaves me resting while she gets to work packing two large steamer trunks. One with clothes and shoes the other with herbs soaps and I am assuming self care items. Once Autumn seemed satisfied with what was packed in those she walks over a slides out the bookshelf and walked into a small hidden room and grabbed a backpack that was already packed. She came back out putting the backpack on she slid the bookshelf back into place " Are you ready to travle back" I stood and went to start grabbing the steamer trunks and she put her hand on my chest "there's a wagon in the wood shed we can stack them on that strap them down" she says.

Autumn:

Hunter went out to retrieve the wagon from the wood shed and got both my trunks loaded up on it and pulled it back to the field where I left the portal open. I grabbed his hand I looked back at my old home one more time with a tear rolling down my cheek and led hunter back through. When we got back to the other side I said a quick incantation to shut the portal then I picked up all my stuff and carefully packed it back into my hikingpack and carried that back while Hunter pulled the waggon with my trunks.We got back to the main pack house and my new home. Hunters gamma Lilyana was waiting outside for us "Are you ready to tour Moon cove pack" she asked me " Let me get my things inside and I will be." Hunter cuts in before she can reply "I can take your things up do you want to maybe move to my room?" I look at him for a second before I reply "Um yah I suppose that would be nice" I will be 19 in a week and there is really no use in fighting the mating bond. I have been alone in my own space nearly 3 years I am ready to put myself out there and have someone I can fall back on...I must have gotten lost in thought as they are both now staring at me. " Well shall we go?" I nod in reply.
