Hello Autumn

Chapter 6: Rogues

Hunter:

I was getting ready to go make sure Autumn didn't need anything before I turn in for the night and the siren goes off to signal yet another rogue attack. I quicken my pace to get to her and run into her rounding the corner to get to the last set of stairs. "I heard a siren and figured it couldn't be a good sign so I thought I might come down and see if I could be of some help" she says "um yah if you want to help my mom round up the women and children and get them all in the bunker she will guide you in what needs to be done." I say right as my mother comes up behind us.

Autumn:

Bunker? Woman and children? Are we being attacked? does he think I am going to just stand by and leave all the heavy lifting to him? " um ok got it where to first?" I ask. Izy grabs my hand and leads the way to a large meeting area in front of the large pack house and starts speaking to the frightened woman and children that have gathered there " Thank you all for gathering I know this is scary but if you can calmly follow us we can get you all into the Bunker" she says as she hands me a click counter " we will be doing a head count as you all file in to insure we aren't missing anyone so please get into a line to make this quicker."

Izy:

I Lead the way to the bunker and we get everyone lined up and do the head count. Amber hands me the click counter after we insure that everyone is there. I go in thinking she is following behind so we can lock up and wait out the threat. I turn around just as she closes the door from the outside.

Is this girl trying to give me a heart attack!

Hunter:

I am heading off this battle I have

a 150 trained soldiers but the rogues are pouring in like rodents there's gotta be 200 to 250 of them. I hope that My mom and Autumn got all the woman and children in the bunker safely! If had to guess I would say this is about to be the final show down with these rogues... At least I hope. We are fighting back as fast as they come in I gave the order to capture the leader so we can get to the bottom of these attacks. I am fighting one in human form and right when he goes full wolf on me and lunges he flies away and looks like he got electrocuted. I am totally at a loss looking around for what could have caused this when I notice Autumn kneeling in the middle of this bloody battle field. concentrating on the wolf I was fighting and with seemingly no effort she stands and takes out two rogues hand on hand. My mate is full of surprises I don't know whether to be mad that she's not in the bunker or in awe that she is a total bad ass babe!? To busy watching her I'm not paying attention and next thing I know I am barreled to the ground. Out of nowhere a beautiful silver white wolf sparkling like snow with a black crescent on the center of her forhead knocks into the wolf on me and snaps its neck before it can clamp down on my face. I roll out of the way and transform too.

Autumn:

Hunter is a giant black wolf and he doesn't seem to happy that I decided to join the fight after I got done with insuring all the woman and children of his pack were safe. He decides to put that aside for now and we make quick work of the rest of the rogues with no loss of life on our side and few injuries. I did end up having to transform again to use my magic on three rogues that managed to sneak up on me. So now at a close victory here I am standing in all my glory covered in blood and ready for sleep. someone approaches me with an oversized tshirt and I gladly put it on. I decide to try to sneak back to the main pack house while hunter gives orders to have the injured taken to the on-site medic and the prisoners taken to the dungeon for interrogation, Only to be grabbed and tugged back into his strong arms " For those of you that don't know this is my mate and your soon to be luna. We owe her thanks she tipped the scales and brought victory to us!" He says in a booming voice and the crowed of soldiers erupted in cheers. He buried his face into my neck and embrace me against his chest as the soldiers finished up. He picked me up once the clearing was empty of his men and carried me back to the pack house where his anxious looking mother waited to insure our safe return.

Hunter:

I carried Autumn back to the pack house she looked exhausted. My mom was waiting outside obviously worried about her and I quickly let her know she was fine and then excused Autumn and myself as I took her upstairs to my room. I sat her down on the sink counter in my bathroom so I could prepare the shower for her and get her out a towel. I motioned to the shower and walked out to get her something to wear for bed.

Autumn:

I quickly remove my clothes and jump in the shower more then ready for that water to hit me. I must've been in there for thirty minutes when I hopped out I was all pruny. I walked into his room and he is sitting at a desk near a set of balcony doors with his shirt off he is covered in tattoos. Hunter looks up he must have felt me staring at him he holds out a mug to me and I take it as he tells me "there's clothes laid out on the bed for you I am going to go get cleaned up don't leave the room." he says and I am sure my whole ass face is tomato frickin red right now. I take a drink from the mug and it has got to be the best hot chocolate I have ever had. I set it down and throw on the lounge clothes he must have retrieved from my room. Then I decided to take that hot chocolate on the balcony since there's a cute little table that looks like it's just waiting for me. I have Been sitting out here staring at the stars and drinking the delightful hot chocolate when a blanket is draped over me and breaks me out of my thoughts. I turn to look at Hunter and he is in nothing but a towel around his hips revealing even more tattoos and a very chiseled body. I am pretty sure I was staring like an i***t cause he cleared his throat and my eyes snapped to his face like they were jumping to attention and he has this gotcha smirk on his face. Just standing against the doorjam with arms folded looking like a bronze god.

Hunter:

I come out of my bathroom and notice Autumn is outside so I grab the blanket at the end of my bed. I go out on the balcony and wrap it around her shoulders then back up to the door jam to lean on it. She looks back at me and stares at me like she wants to eat me up. I clear my throat and her eyes snap up to mine clearly blushing so I smirk at her and fold my arms over my chest I can smell her arousal. Goddess it takes everything in me not to go to fast for her. I nod inside as she stands up and grabs her empty mug to follow me back into my room. She goes to sit at the foot of my oversized king bed while I go to put a pair of basket ball shorts on in my closet. When I walk back out she looks at me " I'm sorry I Finished helping your mom and I-I... I just couldn't leave you guys out there to fight on your own." She says as she looks down at her hands. I grasp her chin between my thumb and pointer finger and tilt her head up to face me "where in the world did you learn to fight like that?" I ask and she answers " My parents wanted me to know how to defend myself because I am different and they thought it might bring some negative attention." She shrugs. I let that go and switched the subject "your wolf is beautiful you are going to have to let her out more often we can go running if you want." She looks a little apprehensive but answers "yes I would like to, that would be nice."

Autumn:

I have only let my wolf out once before and it got my parents killed. When hunter asks me if I would like to let her out to run with his she rolled over in my head please please please she begs and I agree it would be nice but I am a little apprehensive.
