Chapter 3: Getting Somewhere

Hunter:

"As much as I love daydreaming with you in an almost trance like state let's move this along My Name is Hunter as I said before...I noticed no barrier and I stumbled upon your cabin while looking for firewood to set up a makeshift camp because I strayed from the hiking trail and it became to late to turn back, how bout you what's your story are your parents really coming back what are you doing out here did you run away from home? How did you set a barrier are you a witch? What's your name and how old are you?" I try breaking the ice by telling her a bit about myself and trying to learn a bit a bit about her to which she starts answering my questions "no parents they are dead, My father built this cabin for my my mother shortly before he proposed to her the pack he was from Just outside of Brookings Oregon did not agree with the alfa's younger brother having a witch as a mate. My Name is Autumn I am 18 and I haven't been in touch with my wolf since I caused my parents death on the night of my 16th birthday! so to answer whether I ran away no I did not I never left..." She caused Her parents death...I am a little confused and slightly worried so I decide to ask Her "Autumn beautiful name...can you maybe untie me? I'm not hear to harm you as I said but I would like to maybe talk a bit more maybe get to know each other a bit better...?" maybe ask more about how you caused your parents death...thinking that last part to myself.

Autumn:

He asked me to untie him...I rub my now sweating palms on my leggings and say to him in a shaky voice "OK I will cut you loose but...if you try anything I will um...turn you into err...a um toad" a toad that was the best I could come up with what's wrong with me! I think to myself as I cut him loose. I am partway through the last knot when I here another knock on my door...

Beta Silas:

The alpha left hours ago it's not like him to be off grid this long. I go To see the gamma twins Lilyana and Rider to discuss weather or not we should locate his GPS and go insure Alpha Hunter didn't run into any Trouble. We quickly agree on a plan to have lilyana, Rider and Levi one of their top students in the guard Locate the alpha and insure his safe return.

Gamma Lilyana:

We have been walking forever how did Alpha Hunter Even get this far off course he has been hiking his whole life with his parents the last alpha and luna years of experience and he is ten miles from the trail! we finally come upon a small craggy old cabin and our locator starts flashing saying his GPS has been located inside the cabin... we all look at each other in question and my brother Rider tells us "crouch down and stay hidden, cover me I am going in to access the situation." I shake my head and elbow him in the side for sounding like a neard on a mission lol rolling my eyes I get into position while Levi circles around and gets into position on the back side of the cabin. I watch as my brother approaches the cabin and knocks...

Rider:

I approach the cabin looking around and listening for any sign of a struggle knocking on the door I here a female speaking a small crash and a bit of a shuffle as the door creaks open just a crack and the Alpha peaks out lookin a little rough for wear "Alpha?! It um got a little late so we tracked your GPS to insure your um safety..." I say to the clearly bewildered alpha. After a short silence he tells me " I er..umm.. got lost in my thoughts and I umm went off trail by the time I um realized it was to late to really make my way back..." ..."Alpha is everything all right should I call for backup?" felling slightly worried about the clearly fragile state of this situation the alpha replies "no back up isn't necessary" as he opens the door wider revealing a slightly irritated looking girl in her late teens telling me to call my men out of hiding and come in...

Gamma Lilyana:

who in the moongodess is this girl alpha Hunter came across 15 miles away from civilization? She is clearly living in this spooky little cabin!? is she alone? does she need help?

Alpha Hunter:

"Stop gawking and get inside" I order. I don't usually take off this long without at least checking in so I understand the search party, but Lilyana and Rider my unconventional gamma duo are not the search and rescue team I would have chosen to find me and my newly found mate in such a fragile state of union. I am 21 I have been searching for my mate since I turned 18 and I was starting to give up hope but here she is scared and hiding out from the world...And here they are the troublesome two between them and my beta those three are like the siblings I never new I was missing untill I started training and met them. But these two are blunt and can come off as a little too forward at the worst times and the last thing I need is them sending her running for the hills...I really hope they choose to play nice today!

Autumn:

Alpha? I'm sitting haphazardly on the floor where he knocked me over in his haste to get to the door feeling Slightly annoyed at about the evening I'm having. as I'm getting lost in thought complaining to myself about the sudden interruption and I'm pulled out of my own head as I here the guy on the other side of the door address him as Alpha Hunter?! How in the world have I a lonely hermit of a girl been so blessed by the moongodess...
