Lyris threw the stableboy another copper coin in thanks, seeing that Storm had been given a net of hay and fresh water. The horse was restless, shifting his weight form foot to foot as the last of the hour slipped away. Lyris perched on the edge of the stable yard fence. She tucked her feet on the wooden slats and balanced herself with her hands on either side of her hips. Storm hung his head over the fence, trying to reach the grass that was creeping through the cobblestone gaps. Lyris laughed and pushed the heavy head away, before he could knock her off the fence.
