52 Her eyes fluttered open to an empty spot beside her, no longer warm from body heat, but cold from absence.  Her hand reached across the sheets to the vacant space beside her and clenched the fabric between slender fingers. He had been gone two weeks and she had not realized how much she would miss him until he was gone, she loved him and had done for a long time.  She found it hard to be without him some times.  She rolled over, swallowing the thick emotion and closed her eyes, composing herself before she got out of bed.
