And so, as Lucifer collected David's body from the streets, and Lucian mourned over his love a great explosion was seen in the sky as the sun burst into its full strength once again. The earth started to turn at its normal rate, and life as it had been for the last seven years began to reverse. All the land that had been taken by Lucifer's army started to grow lush green grass again, the trees burst with new buds. God was taking his experiment back. The bodies of the demons that had lost the war slowly disintegrated in the warmth of the sun and those who had survived the war made their way outside of their shelters to look at the new world that was developing around them.
