Chapter One
It's been cloudy since morning and everyone has been indoors. Claire was in her small room crying and shivering because she is afraid of the clapping of thunder. Darkness engulfed her room but her mum was still not back from work.
Suddenly, the door to her room opened to reveal the face of her sweet but paranoid mum.
"Oh pretty, what's wrong? Why are you in tears. I've got good news for you",her mum said smiling.
"What is it mum ?", Claire asked in between sobs.
Claire's POV
"You've been admitted to Crystal High", mum dropped the bomb shell.
" Thank you so much mum. I promise to make you proud ",I said to my mum excitedly.
So I'm Claire Gomez and the only daughter of a middle class woman. I am 18,a nerd and endowed. Men and boys follow me everywhere I go with many suitors coming for my hand in marriage because of my beauty.
Back to the present, mum just told me she got me enrolled in Crystal High,like what the *****. Crystal High is the school for the " Kings and Queens " in Australia.
But wait a second! How did mum do that because we rely on her beads making business for survival.
"Mum,how did you do that?",l inquired.
"Do you remember l told you one Mr. Sage owed me a sum of money?", mum asked.
" Yes what about him",l asked.
" Today,he came to me to pay his dept. That's how I got the money for your enrolment.
"Oh, okay ".
For about an hour, mum sat me down to lecture me how l should behave and advised me strongly not sing nor draw. Crystal High is full of competition and the richest always have their way. I am to start school on Monday. Can't wait, I'm so excited.

Monday is finally here and Claire with her mum went to the school to complete the admission process. Claire was told to wait outside for her mum to complete the paperwork. As she was waiting, she got bored and went out of the adminstration block. She saw a mirror tiled stairs and climbed it. Up there, she saw a silvery door with the name " LIAM KING" inscribed with gold on it. She was lost staring at the door which she finds fascinating and suddenly hit her head against a wall. She raised her head to curse the wall only to see a Greek god standing in front of her.
"What the f****!", the guy cursed and before Claire could regain her composure, all she heard was 'smack'.
