I think there’s a hidden door here, I told Sion. Where does it go? Down. It’s in the floor. I grabbed the corner of the rug and pulled it back. I was right. There was a rectangular wooden door with a bronze pull handle. A casual tug didn’t accomplish anything, so I used both hands and heaved as hard as I could. The door came loose and the hinges creaked as it opened. “Maren! You should come and see this!” “What is it?” Her voice echoed into the chamber. “A door to a hidden room!” “I’ll be there in a minute.” She didn’t sound as excited as I felt.
