11 I gasped as searing pain ripped through me. The bond was viciously ripped away, leaving a craterous hole inside my mind and body. All of the grief that Sion had taken away came rushing back, overwhelming my senses. I fell out of my chair and crawled on my hands and knees, trying in vain to escape.
