Chapter 51

698 Words

Alex carried Abigail to his room and made her sit on the bed. She watched him running to his cupboard and taking out a first aid kit box. “I'm fine. Alex.” She said, noticing how anxious and impatient he was. She was really fine. The wound was so tiny. It wasn't even hurting. He didn't listen and rushed to the washroom. Washing his hands, he came back and knelt before her to clean her wound and then, sprayed it for a while. Abigail felt so numb. She wasn't expecting him to be so concerned. He looked so guilty at the same time as if he had committed some sins. A smile curved her lips whilst he applied a plaster very gently, careful not to hurt her. “Thank you.” Alex felt relaxed when he heard her voice. Exhaling a sharp breath, he stared up at her and held her hand in hers. “I am sorry.”
