My pulse sped up as I gazed at the scene in front of me, my heart pounding against my chest . I'd never expected Scarlynn to cheat on me with my brother. He was my younger brother, my own flesh and blood, and he had betrayed me.
I balled my hand into a fist, trying hard to control my emotions. Scarlynn didn't deserve my love; she belonged in the streets, and her whole family was going to pay for this betrayal, especially the only person close to her heart, Scarlett. She was going to watch me make her sister suffer, and she would beg for nothing but death.
I cleared my throat, trying to keep my calm. “What's going on here?” I stared at Scarlett. If she dared to lie to me, her punishment was going to double.
Scarlett’s whole body stilled, her eyes widened in shock.
