Nigel didn’t expect to witness Sherrie being attacked in broad daylight at a popular hospital like Kansas Hospital.
Sherrie grabbed his arm and refused to let go. “Nigel, stop fighting with Allison. Jareth is backing her now. I’m scared they’ll come after you.”
Hearing Sherrie’s words, Nigel was shocked, embarrassment flashing across his face.
Sherrie kept going. “You have to think about yourself. If you end up in jail, what happens to Mom and me?”
