Well, everything is going well so far. My mate still brings me loads of food. When I first found out that I'll die when I shift, I was terrified. The doctor, Samantha I think her name was, told me they could get a special medicine. The special medicine cost 600 dollars! Where will I get that kind of money? I need to pay Alpha Jakob back for paying for me. I know he's my mate but it feels wrong to let him pay. I checked my phone and there were four messages. Typical Nate, never failing to send a message. Okay, let me explain. Nate was my friend, but he has to move because of his family when I was 13. Before that I was verbally abused by the pack. He would always tell me positive things and contradict the pack. When he left he kept texting me positive messages. The four I received was:

You're pretty.

You're worth it.

You're loved.

You're needed.

I smiled. I haven't told him about what happened. He will just worry and it would ruin his happy life. Samantha came in. 

"You can be release now. But remember, don't do too much physical activity."

I smiled, then nodded. I left the hospital without looking back. I arrived in the pack house at 8:30 a.m. It's Saturday, so no school or work. I cooked pancakes and prepared fruit salad. I left it in the table and went to my room. A paper was in my bed. It's from alpha Jakob.

Hey baby. Sorry I can't see you when you get out of the hospital. I have an important business. Make sure to eat. Love you -Kob

P.S. You should call me Kob not Jakob :)

I smiled.I put it in my drawer, then went to shower. I wish Nate was here. Then I could tell him a lot of stories! It'd be like when I was 13. He's the only person I trust. He will know how to handle this mate dilemma. I finished showering and dressed in my oversized shirt and sweatpants. I went down and the pack was finished eating. I got all the dishes and cleaned them. I'm not risking it.

I did all my other chores- cleaning, laundry, and even doing their homeworks. I was exhausted when I finished. Then I remember I need to cook lunch. I hurried down and cooked the pesto and served it. I hurried back to my room and lied down. I was exhausted. My door opened and judging by the presence of sparks in the room, it was alpha Jakob. I quickly sat up, not wanting to disrespect him.

"Have you eaten yet" He asked firmly.

SHIT!

"Yeah" I lied,

"You're lying" DOUBLE s**t!

"No, I'm not", I tried to make it sound convincing, but my voice cracked in the end.

"Still lying"

I chose to ignore him. What happened to me? Where did I learn to disrespect an alpha like this? Much more lie to an alpha? He left the room not bothering to close the door. Really?! You barge in my room and NOT close the door?! I stood up and closed the door. I lied back down and closed my eyes. Not asleep, just resting my eyes. A few minutes later the door flew open. I shot my eyes open and got into a defensive position. I sat back when it was just alpha Jakob. He was carrying a tray full of food.

"Eat" He ordered. Nice try but I follow my alpha.

"Not allowed to alpha Jakob", I told him.

"It's Kob" He corrected.

"That's what I said alpha; alpha JaKOB" I emphasized the 'Kob'

He sighed. He came closer and placed the tray in my night stand.

"It better be finished when I come back from a meeting." He said then closed the door.

I sighed. I can get into so much trouble for this. Alpha Kyle is strong but alpha Jakob is stronger. He can kill me with a finger. I sighed again and ate. I was full halfway. I stopped deciding I would eat it later. Who is he trying to feed anyways? The whole pack? My phone beeped. It was a message from Nate.

I got a surprise for you! X

I smiled and replied

What is it? O

Every time we text we put X or O in the end. Whoever starts the text will be X and whoever will reply will be O. It will be like XOXO- Hugs and Kisses.

He replied.

Can't wait! O

I really and honestly can't. I wonder what his surprise will be? I got my laptop, which I bought from my savings, and started watching spongebob. I haven't watched spongebob in forever! The first time I watched it was in the hospital. I wasn't allowed to use the television, so I didn't know about it. I watched spongebob while eating the rest of my food. After a few episodes, I decided it was time to make their snacks. I made the pack sandwiches and baked cookies. As usual, I placed them in the table and left. When I got up, alpha Jakob was sitting in my room. He was amused about something in my laptop. The spongebob episodes.

"You like rewatching spongebob?" Amusememt was clearly in his face.

"No. I haven't watched it yet."

He looked at me like I grew two heads than pity. I don't need pity. Nate never pitied me. There's nothing to pity on about.

"Oh" He said sadly.

I positioned myself in the floor since he was in the bed. I got my laptop and loaded the episode.

"Can I watch with you?" Alpha Jakob asked.

"Of course alpha Jakob"

"Just call me Kob. Nothing more, nothing less", he said.

I nodded. He motioned for me to sit next to him. A few episodes later we were leaning by the headboard laughing occasionally. My eyes became tired. I felt it closing. Alpha- I mean Kob shut down the laptop and placed ot by the nightstand. Then he cuddled me. Lights? They were closed to have the theater atmosphere. Then I slept. I slept in the arms of my mate. In the arms of Kob.
