"Do you accept this woman as your lawfully wedded wife, Aiden Reiner?" The man inquired.
I said, "I do."
"Do you accept this man as your lawfully wedded husband, Sydney Rosbak?"
After a few seconds of silence, I tightened my grip on her hand, hoping to shake her out of her trance. She shivered.
She answered gently, "I do."
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, and you may kiss the bride."
Her gaze fell on mine at that point. Her eyes were filled with terror and bewilderment. Jennifer had done an excellent job on selecting Sydney’s outfit and accessories. She appeared stunning! For a brief moment, I wanted to cancel everything and rush her into my room. For the time being, I had to make do simply with a kiss. Her soft lips brushed against mine, and I kissed them chastely.
