Aaron sighed with relief as he pulled into the visitors’ parking spot and saw that Derek had kept his word. There he was, standing at the entrance looking awkward and out of place. Aaron supposed it wasn’t easy for Derek. He was used to living on his own terms. To suddenly decide to try and change his circumstances, which included a new sense of obligation such as work, was asking a lot.
