Ace/Skye I could feel Skye’s tension building as the elevator climbed up to her floor. She tried to get us to leave but over my dead body she was facing him alone. Not after what he did. I stayed behind her, but ready to step in at any moment. KB walked arm in arm with her, trying to get her to calm down. We reached the door, Skye hesitated. She unleashed Bella before opening the door. Walking in we could hear noise coming from the living room. It sounded like a sports game. She made a point not to look in that direction, walking straight in and to the library. I strided in, making sure to look toward the noise. Jason was sitting on the couch, pissed as all hell.
