"Valda has been reborn but that's not the only issue, Asphod has awakened" Gitara dropped the news.
"Which means the two entities will face each other in the upcoming battle" Harbinger said.
"I fear that Valda would loose" Davion said
"And why is that?"
"Didn't you hear what she just said, Valda has been reborn but he hasn't awakened yet, but Asphod has already awakened. What if they come for Valda and end his vessel, and who knows where Valda's vessel is at the moment?" Davion laid out his assumptions and worries.
"Nice of you Lord Davion but be resting assured, Valda has been secured. He is here in Palaestra. I felt his presence here yesterday but I can't pinpoint who his vessel is until he has awakened but I felt his light" Gitara emphasized.
"This is one hell of a problem, I don't even know if I should lose hope or still cling to it" Kaden, a saint in the hall said.
"We just have to hope for the best" Lady Alannna said

"So I guess I'll say goodbye for now" Ketil said.
"Yeah it seem so"
Ketil had left them to join the QBs in their training so it meant they won't be seeing too often.

"Sure, I mean I'm everyone's guy" He said before climbing on a giant eagle which happened to be his ride to his training site.
"OK, guys be honest. Is it me or is Davion kinda hot?" Mirana asked with her face all red.
"Oh no, Seren, she's crushing on Davion"
"Leave her Alen, I mean she's a girl so it's natural" Seren said, not looking back bur fixing his gaze at the supposed train8ng ground for them.
"You're not even looking at me, suit yourself" Alen then turned to Mirana.
"So, what do you feel about him?" Alen asked.
"Well, I actually kind of like him"
"Boom, that hit the spot"
"What spot, Alen?"
"Well you see u-um, you're maturing and as time passes by, you get attracted to people. That phase is called the crush phase and you've just arrived at that phase"
"What's crush phase?" Mirana asked as her curiosity continued growing.
Um, I can't actually explain---"
"So I'm guessing you're the new brats in town ha"
He was interrupted by a voice. He turned to see a fat guy with some guys who happen to be his crew standing beside him.
"U-um, yeah you heard right" Alen responded with fear in his tone. Alen wasn't a good fan of fighting so he always tries his best not to cross the line.
"Gosh, look how obedient he is, just like Mars' dog" the fat guy commented and the others burst out laughing.
"What's funny about some bunch of mediocre trying to embarrass and humiliate their dirty assholes?" Seren retorted back. He was sick and tired of bullies.
"It seems this punk ain't know who we are, please tell him" The leader of the gang said.
"We are the triad group and this is our leader, Lord Casios" the guy who seemed like the right hand man introduced.
"You know I'm disappointed. I thought in Palaestra you all are well responsible but you guys just proved to me that you all are bitches" Seren said without an iota of fear.
"What!!!"
"You'll regret this!!" Casios thundered.
He created a ball of flame and sent it to Seren.
"Szźzz"
The fireball had froze midway.
Immediately the atmosphere became chilly and crazy cold.
"It's like I'm freezing from the inside" Casios said as he let out a painful groan.
"Listen you can insult us for all I care but never you lay you hands on these two else you all will have me to contend with"
Twas Mirana. She had froze the fireball.
Seren looked at her. This was the same little girl months ago he had promised to protect and now she's the one protecting him.
"You'll regret this!" Casio said
"No you'll regret ever crossing paths with me. Now get lost, all of you!!" Mirana ordered.
Surprisingly, the triad ganag scampered like lost children.
"Wow, it seems like you're already getting a hold of your power" Alen commented.
"Yeah, seems like it. Let's hurry or we'll be late on our first class" Mirana dragged the boys along.

"So Kirigan, congrats on securing the crystal glory" Bram said as he poured a glass of whiskey and offered it to Kirigan.
You're teasing me. You know I don't drink" Kirigan said, giving him a stern look.
"Oh please loosen up man, a life of soda is very boring" Bram said as he gulped his glass.
"Honestly, I'm relieved we found the crystal glory but I'm worried about Seren"
"You mean the nerd?"
"Yep, the nerd with the glasses. Among all the kids over there, he was the one who had the hardest time"
"Oh, how touching"
"Now he's in a new environment, I wonder how that's gonna affect him. Will it help him or destroy him especially with all this recent happenings" Kirigan laid out his worries.
"I think he's going to be just fine. I mean he has an ultimate goal, and that's to save someone he considers family from the dark"
"That's exactly my worry. This Dante he's trying to save is someone very dear to him. What if Dante convinces him to join the dark?"
"Stop panicking, I'm sure he'll do just fine and when that time comes, he'll make the tight decision. I'm shocked that you doesn't give a damn if someone dies is having an attachment to a nerd. Hope you're not--"
"Okay, stop your useless assumptions, it's really creeping me out. Now I see what you and that Ketil have in common"
"All I'm just saying is he's gonna be alright"
"I hear you. Any news concerning Jinora?"
"Well I heard from her last week. She's investigating a brothel there. Women have been missing and the council thinks it's the work of a demon at play"
"Oh I see, I'll be heading out now, I need to view places I've missed" Kirigan said as he took his sword to leave.
"Hey aren't you paying for your meal??"

"Welcome to the QBs, what's your name if I may ask?" The registrar at the QB base asked.
"My name's Ketil, just plain Ketil" Ketil answered confidently.
"Why did you join the QB?"
"Coz I'm sick and tired of magicians and demons tormenting humans like me so I've come to prove I can beat badass magicians like you"
"Interesting, I think you'll do just fine"
