90 Bradamante awoke determined to reach camp by the end of the day. She wanted food. Real food. A blazing fire. Dry clothes. Her sword. She would keep that sword strapped to her side every moment from now on. She had gotten careless, believing she was safe within the confines of her own army’s camp. If she had been wearing it when Rogero tried to capture her, she could have fought him off then and most likely killed him. It was a lesson she would never, ever forget.
