Daniel had been on the edge as the fight approached. I felt his agitation if I was even in the same building and it made me tense too so I escaped to the Café or running most days. Today Daniel had barged in and after listening to his pacing and snapping at Hanna for five minutes my patience ran out and I came here again, sitting in my usual table. Maria would come later and I wanted to ask about the work, practicing the lines in my head over and over. Hey, you know how I have no qualifications for any work? Well... Rationally I believed if nothing else Maria would want to help and let me work at least a few days. She had said over and over to let her know if I need anything and the café was pretty busy. Still, I couldn't help but doubt that she would take someone like me to work for her
