CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN
When I stepped out of the car, I was certainly not expecting a full on red-carper event with camera flashes blinding me literally. It took me a minute to adjust and thankfully enough, Mr. Laurent was yet to walk inside the event hall and as soon as he saw me, he walked over, all smiles.
“Finally the person I had been waiting for,” he announced, intertwining his arm wine mine and I did not miss the look of amazement in his eyes. He dipped down, whispering, “Tu es trop sexy. You sure do know how to dress for a party,”
“Merci,” I smiled, knowing I had just completed the first step. It didn’t take long before the Cameras turned my way.
