CHAPTER 8

When I open my eyes, the sun almost burn my face. I don't know what day or time is it now, but the sun is like burning today. I think summer is approaching in human world.

Furthermore, I look around to look for Ivory, but she's nowhere to be found. My eyebrows me in annoyance. Where is that woman?

I wake up wearing nothing, but the blanket. I search the room for my clothes and thankfully, it's still lying down below the bed.

After fixing myself, I walked outside to search for Ivory again. I found her in her living room. She is sitting comfortable to her sofa while drinking her favorite coffee.

Smirked while looking at her direction. We did plenty of things unconsciously because of our rut and heat cycle, but she's acting like she alright after all of that. She's outstanding, but I'm a little disappointed 'cause there are no pheromones around her now. There are no pheromones even around her house.

I should wake up earlier than her. Her pheromones are great, and I think it can cure my headache problem too.

I scratched my neck while walking in her direction. I'm the male lycan here, but is looks like she's more powerful than me. Tss.

“Good morning, sweetie.” I sat down beside her and look at her direction.

Whatever. I still enjoy our intimacy contact before, so it's fine. Other than that, she is the only woman who can mate with me without giving me a headache at all.

I am almost wondering right now. What is it like that? Her pheromones also comforts me. I always want to smell it.

“It's not morning now. It's already noon, and don't call me like I'm your slave. Call me by my name and lastly, since you've woken up now, feel free to leave the house as soon as possible. I would like to have a peaceful day.”

I can't help, but to get annoyed again because of what she said. She's acting as if she didn't enjoy the night we shared yesterday.

I stand up and look at her direction. She's still sitting pretty while sipping her favorite coffee and didn't even give me a glance.

“Why are you acting like I'm still a stranger to you? We share a lovely night yesterday. We supposed to be close now, right? But, you're always acting as if you're always in a bad mood. I didn't even do anything bad to you yet.”

I stayed to look at her face to see her reaction. This is the first that I stayed and wanted to have more to a female lycan I mated. I don't why, but I can't afford to get mad at her too. I can't afford to leave her. There's something mysterious to her personality that I want to find out by staying here.

“Tss. Fine. You can stay here.”

I was stunned to her words that I didn't even make a reply to her for a second. I didn't even blink my eyes and just staring to her direction. After a while, I grin and decided to sit beside her.

“So, what do you want us to do here?” I asked while still looking at her eyes. I also bite my lower lips.

“Nothing.” She answered my question without hesitation.

My eyes narrowed because of her answered. She's boring. This story is dull. I can't stay with for a long time if she's only not my cure. I can't even stay with her for a day if she's also making my headache.

“What, then? You're only reading your book for a whole day while doing nothing at all? Are you kidding me?” I moved closer to her.

“If you want to do something, then why don't you want to go outside now?” She replied.

She didn't even give me a glance. Tss.

“Well, I would appreciate it if you will do something more fun to me.” I smirked to her.

“No, Clayton. Shut up. I can't do it today. I'm still— Tsk. Never mind.”

“Still what? And who says that we're going to do that again?”

I can't help, but to laugh now. I guess, she already understood my moves. Not only that, but I think she's just acting tough until now, but in reality, she's really exhausted to our little fun yesterday.

Well, I'm glad enough to know that she remember my name. We see each other for more than a week, anyway.

I noticed that her cheeks into her ears flushed for a second when she finally realized what I've said before. I didn't notice that I flashed a smile while looking at her direction.

Now, I finally saw a great reaction to her. However, I still feel like something is missing, and I don't have an idea what it is.

Ivory stood up and walked to the kitchen. I followed her since I'm still enjoying myself to tease her.

Now that we're finally in the kitchen. I suddenly feel hungry. I only remembered now that I still didn't eat breakfast today and I don't know what time is it now.

“You're going to cook for my breakfast or for your lunch later?” I asked when I saw her touch the pat in front of her.

I'm just standing beside her and followed every moves that she make.

“Your breakfast. It looks like you need to eat right now, so you won't say anything nonsense to me and don't do anything unnecessary.” She replied.

My eyebrows met because of her answer. I nodded my head.

“Good, darling. I feel hungry now, but I like to eat apart from food.”

“Hmm— You would rather not taste the food that I cooked?”

I smiled widely as her replied. I can finally sense that she's fighting to my words now.

“Of course, I would like to know how good your cooking skills.”

I sat to the chair in front of her and decided to watched her while cooking a simple breakfast. She smiled back at me after hearing my words, but she still didn't look at my direction.

I guess, she's not that bad after all.
