ROCHELLE’S POV
“Is this the barn you were telling me, little man?” I asked a boy who I found inside one of the noble’s dungeon.
“Yes! This place is where the baron will put us after the baron’s knights taken us from our home. Sometimes, a man we like to call the guardian shows up and rally the girls to one side, and the other side is for the boys.” I’m not too fond of the sound of that.
I leave the boy to one of the workers before walking to the barn and Rebecca and a couple of the royal knights. As I open the door, a foul stench of death lingers in my nostril.
“Your highness, I don’t like the smell of this. I think it’s wise for us to let the knights enter the barn first to make sure there is no problem.” I nodded before taking a sidestep to let the knights entered the barn.
