As Gabriel and Dr. Kim ran away from the facility, the swarm of drones closing in on them, Gabriel's mind was racing. What was happening to Erebus? Why was it malfunctioning? And what did it mean for the world?
Dr. Kim grabbed his arm, pulling him towards a small shed. "In here," she said, opening the door.
Gabriel followed her inside, just as the drones surrounded the shed. The sound of their rotors was deafening, and Gabriel's heart was pounding.
"What now?" he asked, looking at Dr. Kim.
Dr. Kim's face was grim. "We need to disable the drones," she said. "But I don't know how."
Gabriel's eyes narrowed. "Let me take a look," he said, examining the drones through a small window.
