“You what?” Kevin’s deep voice asked.
“Oh, f**k,” Jem deadpanned. “She said you’re not safe, Grey.”
“She said none of us was safe,” Levi asked.
Slaine groaned a little as Levi helped him stand up. “I’m okay,” he muttered. “But he’s right, Levi. She did say none of us was safe, but she more specifically said Grey wasn’t safe.”
“Well,” Micah said, looking at them. “All four of you write down what you can remember. Right now. So, we can look at it back in the van.”
Micah dug through his bag and pulled out a notebook and some pens. The quartet talked to one another and believed they had managed to get everything the deities had mentioned. They began walking out of the cave, the humans using the non-humans to guide them.
