At midnight, Jem and Grey made their way to the pool on the rooftop. Alexander and Micah were already there. Micah was scowling as usual; the two seemed to be in a heated argument. “I’m not taking your f*****g coat, Alexander,” Micah hissed, but Jem could see him shivering from over there. “Stop being so difficult, Micah, and take the coat,” Alexander replied calmly, pushing the coat further into his chest.
