“We’re here!” Jasper yelled, scaring those of them who were light sleepers awake, one of them being Micah. He shot up in bed, disoriented, but what he hadn’t expected was for there to be someone beside him. He scrambled out of bed, and when a hand caught him, he panicked. His heart was pounding a mile a minute, his eyesight blurry. Something similar was about to happen again, and he would be unable to do anything to stop it. “Micah,” Alexander said, barely catching him. Damn, he would have fallen and hit his head. “Micah, it’s me. It’s Alexander. It’s just me. You’re okay. You’re fine.
