Chapter 4

404 Words
The drive to work was taking longer than I had expected and I was starting to feel anxious as time flew by yet I seemed to be moving at a snail pace. A few blocks from my destination a car came and cut in front of me forcing me to brake fast nearly getting bumped by the car behind me. “What the hell is wrong with you” I screamed, hooting and waving my hands angrily at the wreck less driver. He pulled out his middle finger and furious I opened my window and pulled my middle finger at him too. “You moron” I screamed as he joined another lane. I was surprised however when I saw him pull up at Charles Finch and Associates “Great” I thought to myself. I parked my car two cars from his car and I got out of my car and was straightening myself up when he walked up to me  “Well, well, what do you know, we work at the same place and what a damn good first impression you have made on me” He said and chuckled sarcastically “Well, the feeling is mutual cause you also do not rank up there on people who have made good first impressions for me” I replied equally sarcastic as I took out my bag. “I guess whoever has the higher power is the one who you need to make a first good impression to and I don't think you are even trying. “I don’t need to…” I was about to say but nearly choked on my own words when I turned to look at him.  This man looked like he was walking straight out of a magazine shoot. He was wearing a well-tailored and fitted black suit that hugged his perfect built body. He had a well-manicured bearded, strong jaw and a good head of black hair that suited the length of his being.  As I stood by my car weak kneed and unable to speak I wished that I could take back everything that had happened before this moment. I wished I had listened to my mother and had worn something more flattering and most of all I wished that the beautiful man who stood in front of me would not judge me for my actions.  “See you inside” he said as he put one hand in his pocket and walked into the building. “Dammit!” I said grinding my teeth together. I grabbed my bags locked my car and walked into the building.
