Elara led the team toward the portal, her heart racing with anticipation. As they drew closer, the glowing gateway pulsed with an otherworldly energy. Sophia's eyes widened in awe. "This is incredible! A stable wormhole, right in front of us!" Ryker's gaze was skeptical. "What's on the other side?" Elara's smile was determined. "Only one way to find out." As they stepped through the portal, the team felt a strange sensation, like being pulled apart and put back together again. The world around them blurred, replaced by a vision of swirling colors and distorted space-time. When their vision cleared, they found themselves standing on a desolate, alien landscape. The sky was a deep crimson, and the ground was covered in a fine, powdery dust. Sophia's voice was full of wonder. "We're not on Earth anymore, that's for sure." Ryker's eyes scanned the horizon, his hand on his weapon. "This place feels wrong. Like we're being watched." Elara's gaze was fixed on a strange structure in the distance. "That's our destination. Let's move out." As they approached the structure, they noticed strange symbols etched into its surface. Elara's eyes lit up with recognition. "These symbols... they're the same as on the artifact! This must be the place where it was created." Sophia's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Imagine what secrets this place holds!" But Ryker's expression was grim. "I don't like this. We're walking into a trap." Elara's voice was firm. "We have to know what's going on. Let's do this." With that, the team entered the alien structure, ready to face whatever secrets it held...
